In Chania (Greece), a man shot his brother with a carbine: a family dispute ended in injury

In the Greek city of Chania, a serious family conflict ended with a gunshot wound. While at home, a man aimed a carbine at his brother, resulting in a shot that caused injuries to the victim.
According to police, the incident occurred during an intense argument between relatives, the reasons for which are being investigated. At some point, one of the brothers took a hunting carbine and, according to preliminary information, threatened with the weapon, after which a shot was fired.
The injured man was promptly taken to hospital. His life is not in danger; however, he sustained bodily injuries and remains under medical supervision.
The shooter was detained by police, and the weapon was confiscated. An investigation has been launched into the illegal use of a firearm and causing bodily harm.
Police emphasize that domestic conflicts involving weapons remain one of the most dangerous forms of violence and can have tragic consequences.
