Two Cars Set on Fire in Larnaca Within 15 Minutes Last Night
Cyprus saw another series of car fires last night, this time in Larnaca. In just 15 minutes, two vehicles were set alight.
Firefighters were quickly mobilized after receiving reports of two cars being set on fire in a short span of time. According to Andreas Ketti, a representative of the Fire Service, the first fire broke out at around 2:10 AM in a vehicle parked outside its owner's home. Two fire trucks were dispatched to the scene.
The second fire was reported to emergency services at 2:26 AM, and fire crews were able to quickly bring it under control as well.
Both vehicles were severely damaged in the incidents. Authorities suspect that arson may be to blame, although a full investigation is underway to confirm the cause.
