In Limassol, a 12-year-old child crashed into a pole in his father's car

A notable traffic accident occurred in Limassol on Greece's Independence Day. A 12-year-old boy decided to take a ride in his father's car and crashed it into a pole belonging to the telecommunications company CyTA.

According to local media reports, the sixth-grader independently got behind the wheel of his father's car and went for a ride around the city streets. While making a right turn on Agias Sofias Street, the child lost control, causing the car to crash into a pole belonging to the cell phone company and stall on the side of the road.

Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident. CyTA employees arrived at the scene, assessed the damage, and began to address the aftermath of the collision.

Police are currently investigating the circumstances under which the minor ended up behind the wheel of his father's car.
