Another Car Set on Fire in Limassol Overnight
In Limassol, a car was set on fire during the night, with arson believed to be the cause.
According to a police spokesperson, emergency services received an urgent call shortly after 3:00 AM. The fire erupted in a vehicle owned by a 49-year-old man, which was parked in an open area near Agios Afanassios.
Firefighters quickly responded to the scene and managed to bring the fire under control, but the car sustained substantial damage. Upon inspecting the site, police found evidence of deliberate arson. The investigation is being led by the Limassol Criminal Investigation Department.
The area surrounding the incident has been cordoned off and is under guarded security.
