Live Broadcast of the Olympic Opening Ceremony in Paris to be Shown in Limassol
The opening ceremony of the XXXIII Olympic Games in Paris will be broadcast live in Limassol.
The event will take place at Limassol Molos and will start at 7:45 PM with a short musical program. The Olympic opening ceremony itself is scheduled to begin at 8:30 PM.
The broadcast is organized by the French Embassy and the French Institute of Cyprus, in collaboration with Alliance Française Limassol. Attendees will include Deputy Minister of Culture Lina Kassianidou, French Ambassador to Cyprus Salina Grenet-Catalano, and Limassol Mayor Nicos Nicolaides.
The broadcast will feature subtitles in Greek and English. The event is open to the public and free of charge.
As previously reported, the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, and the First Lady, Philippa Karsera, will attend the ceremony in Paris.
