In Limassol, an elderly man shot a businessman's car
The Cyprus Police are searching for a suspect in the shooting incident in Limassol. A 63-year-old man fired shots at the car of a 61-year-old entrepreneur.
According to the police press service, the incident occurred in the Zakaki area of Limassol just after noon on Monday. According to local media reports, unidentified individuals riding motorcycles passing by opened fire on the car parked in front of the entrepreneur's house.
As a result of the attack, the car sustained significant damage. The police were able to promptly trace the suspects.
On Tuesday morning, an arrest warrant was issued for the 63-year-old man suspected of the attack.
The shooter has not yet been found. Police spokesman Christos Andreou stated that a second suspect was also involved in the incident, but more detailed information about him is currently unavailable.
