26-Year-Old Woman Dies In Limassol After E-Scooter Accident
A 26-year-old Nepalese citizen died on Saturday morning from injuries sustained in a road accident that occurred on Tuesday in Limassol.
According to police, the accident took place on February 10 at around 08:00 on Nikos Pattichis Street. Under circumstances that are still under investigation, a car driven by a 52-year-old woman collided with an electric scooter ridden by Lakpadoma Sherpa.
The victim was transported in critical condition to a private clinic in Limassol, where she was intubated and placed on life-support machines. Despite doctors’ efforts, she passed away early Saturday morning.
Police continue to investigate the causes of the tragedy.
