Woman Arrested in Limassol for Using Stolen Credit Cards
In Limassol, police have arrested a 30-year-old woman accused of stealing a man’s wallet and using his credit cards for purchases.

According to the police, on November 10, a 65-year-old tourist reported that his bag had been stolen on the beach. Inside the bag were his wallet and a key card to the hotel room where he was staying.
When the man returned to his hotel room, he discovered that his ID, an electronic device, a pair of €20 watches, and his wallet—which contained €10 along with three credit cards—were all missing.
The victim attempted to cancel his bank cards and found that they had already been used at four different stores in Limassol, totaling $266.99 (€253.11) in purchases.
Police later determined that the thief had used the stolen hotel key card to access the victim's room. The 30-year-old woman was arrested under suspicion of theft and unauthorized use of the credit cards, and she has been taken into custody.
