Repeated burglary attempts recorded at Highpoint Residence complex in Limassol
LIMASSOL, Cyprus – Residents of the Highpoint Residence complex in the Mesa Geitonia area are expressing concern over a series of burglaries. The first incident occurred on June 26, 2025, between 8:30 PM and 9:00 PM, when perpetrators broke into an apartment by forcing open the front door while the owner was away.
A month later, on July 30, a new attempted break-in occurred — this time on the floor above. According to the residents, who were at home at the time, the perpetrators acted in the same manner as in the previous case. Neighbors managed to record the incident on video and also provided footage from a surveillance camera that had captured the perpetrators the first time.
In both cases, the police were called, but according to the residents, no progress has been made in the investigation. The victims hope that publicizing the information will help draw attention to the situation and prevent further burglary attempts in the area.
