At the beginning of the week in Cyprus, warming, local rains, and dust are expected: weather forecast for February 26
According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, on Friday, January 26, the region will be affected by weak low pressure. Thin dust will occasionally linger in the atmosphere.
Today, in the first half of the day, after the morning fog dissipates, increased cloudiness is expected. After noon, local cloudiness will intensify, which is expected to bring isolated rain and thunder, mainly in the northern half of the island, in the mountains, and possibly in the southeast. The wind will be predominantly northeast and southeast, weak, occasionally moderate.
According to the meteorological forecast service, today during the day, the air temperature will reach up to 20°C in inland areas, on the southern, western, and eastern coasts, up to 21°C, and on the northern coast, up to 13°C in mountainous areas.
By evening and night, temporarily increased, mostly moderate, cloudiness is expected. The air temperature will drop to approximately 9°C in inland areas, to 13°C on the eastern coast, to 11°C on the rest of the coast, and to 5°C in mountainous areas.
On Tuesday, the temperature will not change significantly, but it will gradually increase until Thursday, fluctuating significantly above the average climatic values.
