A 15-year-old high school student was attacked in Nicosia. He was stabbed in the stomach by a peer.

According to police, the incident occurred on Wednesday evening on Tseriou Avenue in Strovolos. Police received information about the injured minor around 8:30 p.m. The child was taken to Makarios Hospital.

When police arrived at the hospital, they found that a 15-year-old boy had been stabbed in the stomach. The victim reported that the blow was struck by a person unknown to him.

After this, police officers identified the attacker - he also turned out to be a 15-year-old young man, who allegedly attacked a peer and stabbed him in the abdomen.

It is known about the injured guy that he has already undergone surgery and is still in the intensive care unit of Makarios Hospital in serious but stable condition.

According to doctors, if his condition remains stable, he will be transferred to the pediatric surgery department tomorrow.
