In Nicosia, a building with Israeli businessman companies "mined"
Nicosia police received a phone call about an explosive device believed to be located in one of the buildings in the city center. The mined building houses companies belonging to an Israeli businessman.
The alarming message about the explosive device planted in a building in central Nicosia, on Foti Pitta Street, parallel to Stasikratous Street, where the company offices are located, was received by the police on Wednesday morning, around 11:20.
Immediately after the call, police and fire department personnel rushed to the scene.
The specified building was promptly evacuated. Further investigation is underway. Whether an explosive device was found in the premises has not been reported.
