Paphos Police conducted operations aimed at combating electronic gambling, resulting in the arrest of two individuals for operating an illegal home-based online casino.
The operation took place the evening before, when officers executed a search at the home of a 60-year-old man, with a 36-year-old woman present, who was managing the property.
During the search, a total of 18 gaming machines were seized, along with a portable computer, which is believed to have been used for online gambling activities.
Both suspects were taken to the police station for further questioning, and the computers were confiscated.
