In Paphos, a 68-year-old driver was seriously injured in a major accident
A serious road accident occurred today around 07:30 AM on Priamou Street in Paphos
According to the police, a car driven by a 68-year-old man collided with another car driven by a 27-year-old driver under circumstances that are still being investigated. The car also carried passengers aged 39 and 31.
As a result of the collision, the 68-year-old driver sustained severe injuries. He was taken by ambulance to Nicosia General Hospital, where he initially underwent surgery.
Due to his critical condition, the man was then transferred to the intensive care unit, where he remains under medical observation.
Paphos traffic police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
