Russian National Arrested in Paphos on Fraud Charges
Paphos police have arrested a 47-year-old man wanted by Russian authorities on charges of fraud.
According to the police, the man was detained yesterday afternoon. A warrant for his arrest was issued in Russia in connection with fraudulent activities allegedly carried out between 2006 and 2015.
The Paphos District Court has issued a temporary detention order for the suspect, who remains in custody. Further details about the arrested individual have not been disclosed.
