A new roundabout will be built in Paralimni at the intersection of Cavo Greco Avenue and Talis Street
The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Public Works has signed a contract for the construction of a new roundabout in the municipality of Paralimni, at the intersection of Cavo Greco Avenue and Talis Street in the Protaras area. The contract was signed on November 26 by the Director of the Public Works Department, Eleftherios Eleftheriou, and the representative of the contractor company Adelphoi Katsiu (Styliotes) Ltd, Niki Moulazimi-Tsangaridou.
The project предусматриes a roundabout with an internal diameter of 15 meters. The roundabout will have two traffic lanes, each 3.75 meters wide. On the outer side, a pedestrian sidewalk with a minimum width of 2.85 meters is planned, and on the inner side — a paved area made of cubic paving stones with a width of 2.00 meters.
The works include the installation of street lighting in accordance with the design prepared by the Cyprus Electricity Authority (AHK). Irrigation for the greenery of the roundabout, road markings and signs, telecommunications, water supply and other related works will also be carried out.
The project is scheduled to be implemented in December 2025. The duration of the works is 4 months. The contract value is €595,600.79 plus VAT.
