On Easter Sunday in Paphos, a car with teenagers crashed
Last Sunday in Cyprus, there was an accident involving a car with four teenagers inside. A 16-year-old boy was injured in the accident, and the driver was a 15-year-old boy.
According to the police press service, the accident occurred in the village of Peyia in Paphos around 1:25 a.m. The car, driven by a 15-year-old teenager, collided with another car driven by a 47-year-old man.
There were three other minors in the car with the teenage driver. And in the second car, there was an 11-year-old boy as a passenger.
After the collision, the car driven by the 15-year-old teenager crashed into a road sign and stopped on the side of the road.
A 16-year-old teenager was injured in the accident and was taken to the hospital with a head injury. He received stitches and was kept overnight. According to doctors, his condition is not life-threatening.
Two other passengers in the car reported minor injuries and were taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure.
The 47-year-old man underwent an alcohol test, which came back negative.
The police investigation into the incident is ongoing.
