Indian Biker Dies in Fatal Accident in Cyprus
Another tragic accident has occurred in the Republic of Cyprus, resulting in the death of a 29-year-old Indian biker.
According to the police press service, the incident took place yesterday around 16:30 on the road from Menia to Pervolia in the Larnaca province. The collision involved a car driven by a 34-year-old man and a motorcycle operated by Arun Kumar, a 29-year-old Indian national.
As a result of the accident, Kumar sustained severe injuries and was transported by ambulance to Larnaca General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead by the attending physician.
It is reported that Kumar was wearing a protective helmet at the time of the collision. The driver of the car underwent tests for alcohol and drugs, which yielded negative results. Despite this, the police issued an arrest warrant for the motorist, who was subsequently taken into custody to aid in the investigation.
