On the evening of March 19, a fatal accident involving minors occurred in the Strovolos area of Nicosia. Around 21:15, a 15-year-old teenager operating a motorcycle lost control. He died as a result of the traffic accident, while his 17-year-old passenger was hospitalized in serious condition.

According to police, the accident occurred on Iphigenias Avenue. The motorcycle collided with a car driven by a 39-year-old man, after which it crashed into a parked vehicle. Both teenagers were taken to Nicosia General Hospital, where one of them died from his injuries.

The deceased was identified as Hosh Mustafa, a Syrian national. It was established that the motorcycle was listed as stolen: the owner had filed a relevant report with the police on March 9.

Law enforcement authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
