Man Arrested with Ammunition at Limassol Courthouse
A 46-year-old man was arrested at the Limassol courthouse after being found in possession of ammunition. Several pistol cartridges were discovered in his bag during a routine security check.
According to the police, the man entered the courthouse at approximately 10:30 a.m. The metal detector alarm went off as he passed through security screening.
Private security personnel searched the man’s belongings and found a small bag containing ammunition.
Police were called to the scene and confirmed the discovery of four live 9mm pistol cartridges.
The suspect was immediately arrested and taken in for questioning.
