In the second half of March 19th, brief showers are expected in Cyprus
According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, on Tuesday, March 19th, the region continues to be influenced by low pressure. Meteorologists predict brief showers, mainly in the second half of the day.
Today, in the first half of the day, the weather will be cloudy, while in the second half of the day, intermittent rain and thunderstorms are expected, mainly in the south of the island. The wind will blow from the southwest to the northwest, ranging from moderate to strong.
According to the meteorological forecast, the daytime air temperature today will reach up to 23°C in inland areas, around 21 degrees on the coast, and up to 10°C in mountainous regions.
By the evening, the weather will be predominantly clear, but occasional increased cloudiness is possible.
The air temperature will drop to about 9°C in inland areas, down to 15°C on the western coast, to 12°C on the rest of the coast, and down to 4°C in mountainous regions, where local frosts are expected.
It is expected that in the coming days, the air temperature will fluctuate at the same level, slightly above the average climatic indicators.
