The air in Cyprus will warm up to 37°C: Weather forecast for May 22
According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, on Tuesday, May 21, the region will be affected by a weak low-pressure system. Dust will persist in the air until Thursday, with its concentration potentially increasing.
Today, the weather will be mostly clear in the morning, gradually becoming partly cloudy with mid and high-level clouds.
The Meteorological Service forecasts that daytime temperatures will rise to 37°C in inland areas, 29°C on the west coast, 31°C on other coastal areas, and 28°C in the mountainous regions.
By evening, the weather will remain mostly clear, but there will initially be increased mid and high-level cloudiness. Nighttime temperatures will drop to 20°C inland and on the coast, and to 17°C in the mountainous regions.
A gradual noticeable decrease in temperature is expected until Friday, with temperatures remaining slightly above average climatic values. No significant changes are expected on Saturday.
