Over the weekend, pedestrian walkways will be repaired in the old city of Nicosia
This weekend in Cyprus, it is planned to renew the paving of pedestrian walkways at the southern end of Ledra Street and on the sidewalk of the adjacent Fokionos Street in the old city of Nicosia.
The Nicosia Municipality announced that the paving renewal work will begin on Friday at 6 a.m. and will continue until 10 a.m. on Monday.
Vehicles will be able to enter Ledra Street at regular times for loading via Arsinoe Street. Fokionos Street will be completely closed during the repair.
- Repairing pavement tiles and sidewalks is necessary for the safe movement of pedestrians and vehicles. Drivers are asked to be cautious and follow traffic signals," the municipality statement said.
