The strike by air traffic controllers in Greece has affected 33 flights to Cyprus
A 24-hour strike by air traffic controllers is taking place at Greek airports today. The protest action began at midnight and will affect 33 flights to and from Cyprus.
In total, 17 departures and 16 arrivals have been canceled at Larnaca and Paphos airports in Cyprus. The destinations of the canceled flights are Athens and Thessaloniki.
According to local media, the only flights that will be serviced are those required by law, namely air ambulance services.
Airlines have already informed affected passengers, and those interested can board the next available flight if seats are available.
