Residential House in Nicosia Evacuated After Car Arson
Early on Thursday morning, a residential house in Nicosia was evacuated due to a burning car, ignited intentionally by arson.
According to the police press service, information about the car fire, parked near the residential house in Strovolos, was reported to emergency services around 04:00.
Fire department personnel arrived at the scene and began extinguishing the fire and evacuating the building for the safety of the residents.
As a result of the fire, the vehicle was completely destroyed by the flames, and two other cars nearby also sustained serious damage.
Initial investigations conducted by the police and fire department confirmed that the fire was deliberately set. Authorities are now investigating another case of arson.
