Want to add your FAQ?

The Christmas tree is the main symbol of the holiday, creating an atmosphere of warmth, coziness, family traditions, and the anticipation of miracles. Decorating the tree brings the family together and fills the home with a festive mood. In Cyprus, you can buy a real live tree grown in state nurseries.

Where to Buy a Christmas Tree

Every year from late November, the live Christmas tree sales season opens in Cyprus. Trees are cut exclusively as part of forest thinning — a necessary measure for the healthy growth of Cypriot coniferous species. Therefore, by buying a tree, you do not harm nature — you help maintain the forest balance.

From 26 November to 19 December, Christmas trees can be purchased at the nearest forestry offices across the country.

Sales Schedule

Sales take place only on weekdays — Monday to Friday.
