Limassol Wine Festival
The Limassol Wine Festival will start on Saturday, October 7, and end on Sunday, October 15. We are publishing the program of this week-long celebration.
In addition to the main program, various performances will take place in the municipal garden of Limassol, near the Vraka Man statue. Also, a pottery workshop will be held in the gaming area behind the statue from 19:00 to 20:00 on October 7, 8, 10, 13, 14, and 15.
Live music will be played in the city taverns every evening during the festival, and an actor on stilts dressed as "Vraka Man" will stroll through the municipal garden, posing for photos with visitors.
Main Festival Program
October 7, 19:30 — Opening Ceremony
The opening ceremony features traditional dances from the Mediterranean region and the participation of the Limassol Philharmonic Orchestra. The TrakART Pops orchestra presents its own unique program, featuring excerpts from famous world tangos and waltzes, Greek and Cypriot traditional songs.
October 8, 20:00
A musical tribute to great authors and performers with Giota Negka, Andreas Elesnitshalis, Lefteris Pitsilidis, and an orchestra conducted by Admitos Pitsilidis.
October 9
20:00 The theater group "Anatropes" presents a Cypriot comedy.
21:30 Concert by Konstantinos Zorpas with Despoina Olympiou, Kostas Hadjichristodoulou, and many other artists. The program also includes a performance by the Mahallekide Dance School.
October 10
20:00 Theater performance of a Cypriot comedy by "Yelio".
21:30 Georgaletti choir will perform rebetiko melodies, a style of urban folk song originating from Greece.
October 11, 20:00
Cypriot dances and songs by the Cultural Society "Nostos Pissouri". An ensemble of renowned Cypriot musicians, along with Gerasimos Andreatos, Elena Yannaku, and the Dionysos Culture and Dance Group, will perform folk songs.

Concert featuring Christos Nicolopoulos, Kostas Karafotis, Katerina Parashu, Lisa Theophanous, and an orchestra conducted by Nikos Stratigos.

20:00 The theater group "Paraskinio" presents a Cypriot comedy.
21:30 Musical performance by Michalis Hadjimichael, Demetra Hadjimichael, and Antri Karantoni featuring traditional songs.

Concert titled "If the Sea Were Wine" with Bambis Tsertos, Anna Aristidou, Georgia Kombou, and their group. Featuring a folk group from Limassol, "Amatusi," and serenade performers.

Musical journey from "entechno to laiko" (Greek folk music) with Filippos Ktenas, Elena Andreou, and the Asma musical ensemble under the direction of conductor Savvas Chrisanthou.
October 11
Traditional, folk, and Cypriot dances by Olympos Ayiou Nikolaou. Greek songs by Georgios Genetliou, Rafaello Genetliou, Nicholas Genetliou, and Andreas Davidson.
October 12
Traditional songs and melodies from Cyprus, the Aegean Islands, and Smyrna (ancient Greek city) by the musical group ANTAMA. Master potter Maria Michael will also be on stage demonstrating pottery-making, sculpting an "enoho" (wine pitcher) in front of the audience.
October 13
Cretan dances by the Erimi Argonauts cultural club. Rebetiko music by the famous group Archi dia tou Rebetikou.
October 14
Traditional music by Vasiliki Hadjiadamou and a group of eight distinguished Cypriot musicians.
October 15
Folk music by Nicholas Antoniadis, Kyriaki Ilii, and a five-member group. Additionally, the Limassol Philharmonic Orchestra will perform once again.

In addition to the above, you can attend a presentation by the Cyprus Oenologists' Association of two local grape varieties: Morokanella and Vasilissa. Also, come to the wine-themed cartoon exhibition and the "Wine Route" exhibition by the Cyprus Photography Society.

The festival runs daily from 19:00 to 00:00. Wine tastings will be held in all wineries located at the Wine Festival from 20:00 to 21:00.
How much is a ticket to the Limassol Wine Festival?
Adults (over 18 years): €5.00. The ticket includes a 20% discount on all bottled wines (excluding Commandaria) from KEO, LOEL, or SODAP wineries. Children under 17 years: €3.00.
