Myths

The Calypso Theatre team presents the play "Myths" — a story about two characters from ancient Greece. The cult of archetypes hides not a fairy tale about goddesses, but terrifying stories that never end well. In striving to be like them, people return to chaos.

The play consists of two parts:

• Part 1: Medea. A story of destructive passion. A stranger from Colchis, queen and sorceress, following Jason, helps him seize the Golden Fleece, destroying everything in her path.

• Part 2: Aphrodite. The familiar goddess of beauty and love appears on the theater stage for the first time. The play reveals her image through the hymns of Homer and Sappho.

This is not just a performance, but a complete immersion into the ancient atmosphere.
