The Barber of Seville Opera

One of the main events of the 2026 season will take place in Northern Cyprus — a production of Gioachino Rossini's famous opera «The Barber of Seville» (Il Barbiere di Siviglia). This is a joint project of the Northern Cyprus State Opera and Ballet Coordination Center (KKTCDOB) and the General Directorate of State Opera and Ballet of the Republic of Turkey (TCDOBGM).

One of the world's most popular comic operas, which has been delighting audiences for over two centuries, will be presented in Nicosia accompanied by piano. Brilliant music, unforgettable arias, and a lively plot guarantee guests an unforgettable evening.
