Золотий пляж на півострові Карпас — один із найкращих пляжів Північного Кіпру
Golden Beach in Karpas is one of the most beautiful and extensive beaches in all of Cyprus. It remains relatively uncrowded thanks to its location away from the main tourist routes. Here, you can experience the true “wild” Cyprus: golden sand, clear waters, and almost no urban infrastructure.

Golden Beach in Northern Cyprus
The beach gets its name from the rich golden-colored sand that stretches along the coast for several kilometers. It is one of the longest sandy beaches in Northern Cyprus.
Golden Beach is a protected natural area, as sea turtles of the Caretta Caretta species lay their eggs here. During the nesting season, restrictions apply: lighting fires, using bright night lights, and setting up tents are prohibited to avoid disturbing the natural habitat.

How to get to Golden Beach
The beach is located on the southern coast of the Karpas Peninsula, the “tail” of Cyprus that is easily visible on the island’s map. The main paved road runs along the coast and leads to the very tip of the peninsula.
There is no public transport to the beach. Rare minibuses without a fixed schedule can only take you as far as Dipkarpaz — the largest settlement on Karpas.
Reaching the beach by car is not difficult, although the journey takes a significant amount of time. From the main road, there are several turnoffs to the beach passing through fences set up to protect the area from wild donkeys. You should leave the main road here.
