According to information published by the police press office, some roads in Famagusta will be closed to traffic due to the official parade that will take place in Famagusta on the occasion of the 51st anniversary of Peace and Freedom Day on July 20.
According to the statement from the General Police Directorate, starting from 07:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 20, 2025, the section of İsmet İnönü Boulevard in Famagusta between the Sulu roundabout and the UN camp will be closed to vehicular traffic until the end of the ceremony.
The statement emphasizes that drivers should not park along this route during the specified hours in order not to obstruct traffic, and that they must follow traffic signs and signals during the ceremony.
