More than 15,000 teams and 47,000 individuals have registered to participate in this year’s TEKNOFEST festival, set to take place in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). The festival will feature demonstrations of aerial vehicles and competitions focused on innovative technologies.

The event will be held from May 1 to 4 at the old Ercan Airport under the guidance of the Turkish Technology Teams Foundation (T3 Foundation) and the Presidency of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

The world’s largest aviation, space, and technology festival, TEKNOFEST, will bring together students, entrepreneurs, and enthusiasts who are shaping the future of science and technology. Participants will showcase their projects in seven main categories and 14 subcategories.

In addition to these competitions, TEKNOFEST-2025 will offer a variety of attractions, including an aircraft exhibition, a planetarium, a digital experiences zone representing the TRNC, pedal-powered flights, and live stage performances.

TEKNOFEST TRNC will also host thrilling air shows, featuring renowned acts like SOLOTÜRK, the Turkish Stars, F-4 fighter jets, the ATAK helicopter, Hürkuş, ANKA 3, and Bayraktar drones (TB2 and TB3).

Earlier, TRNC President Ersin Tatar hosted a delegation to discuss preparations for the upcoming aviation, space, and technology festival, TEKNOFEST 2025, to be held in Northern Cyprus.
