On March 8th, Northern Cyprus is expecting rain, showers, and thunderstorms
According to the Department of Meteorology of the TRNC, on Friday, March 8th, the region is experiencing low pressure and cool, moist air. Heavy rainfall and thunderstorms are expected in some areas of the island.
Meteorologists predict variable cloudiness with occasional rain and showers, especially on the northwest coast, in the central part of the country, near Famagusta, and in the Karpas region.
The air temperature remains within the seasonal climatic norm: thermometers will read a maximum of 20-21 degrees Celsius. The wind is southwest, with moderate strength.
There are no active weather warnings from meteorologists in Northern Cyprus.

Northern coast: Kyrenia - 20°C, Lapta - 18°C, Akdeniz - 19°C, Alevkaya - 15°C, Esentepe - 18°C.
Western coast: Lefke - 9°C, Güzelyurt - 20°C.

Eastern coast: Famagusta - 20°C, Iskele - 21°C.
Karpas: Yenierenkoy - 18°C.
