Near East University Hospital Extends TEMOS Accreditation
The world's largest healthcare accreditation body, TEMOS, has extended the accreditation of Near East University Hospital, reaffirming the quality of services provided there.
TEMOS representatives visited the island a year ago and assessed the hospital against more than 500 criteria. This year, the "Quality in International Patient Care" accreditation was successfully renewed.
Thus, the medical institution has once again passed the rigorous TEMOS audit process, which evaluates trust, treatment effectiveness, and optimization of medical services.
The certificate from TEMOS, which has regional offices in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and the Americas, is significant for confirming that medical facilities have world-class infrastructure and service quality.
TEMOS accreditation indicates that Near East University Hospital is a reliable option for patients seeking medical services abroad.
With the renewed accreditation, Near East University Hospital has maintained its place on the list of medical institutions recommended by the Diplomatic Council for providing medical services to its members.
"This achievement is an important step not only for our hospital but also for strengthening the potential of medical tourism in Northern Cyprus. We will continue to provide high-quality medical services to our patients at an international level," said Chief Physician Salih Mujdat Balkan.
