TRNC Boxers Triumph at Victory Cup in Ankara
Boxers from the "Nazirov" club have returned from the Victory Cup in Ankara with a haul of awards. During the competition, they dominated their opponents, securing four medals in total.
The boxing matches for the Victory Cup were held at the "Kemal Sonunur" boxing hall in Ankara on August 30. Over four days, the Northern Cypriot boxers, led by coach Alisher Nazirov and assistant coach Sinem Keles, achieved impressive results, winning 1 gold and 3 silver medals. They returned to the island with a triumphant sense of achievement.
Slava Kambur won the gold medal, while Timur Chetin, Emir Dikil, and Muhammed Mustafa Ozkan each took home silver medals.
The success of these athletes has been highly praised by the sports federation and the broader professional community. They are expected to receive new invitations to various tournaments and championships in the near future.
