Rain and thunderstorms expected in Northern Cyprus until Monday
The Meteorological Service reported that precipitation is expected in the region from today until Monday.
According to the forecast for the period from January 29 to February 4, the area will be influenced by a low-pressure system as well as cold and moist air masses in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
- Today — variable cloudiness, with occasional light showers in some areas
- Friday and Saturday — rain and isolated thunderstorms
- Sunday — occasional light precipitation
- Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday — variable and minimal cloudiness, no significant precipitation
The maximum air temperature in coastal and inland areas will reach 18–21°C.
Winds will blow mainly from the south and west, moderate, occasionally strong.
On Friday, Saturday, as well as Monday and Tuesday, gusty and stormy winds are possible.
