The Catalkoy-Esentepe road will be closed for 5 hours today
The main road from Chatalkoy to Esentepe will be closed to traffic for 5 hours today. The restriction is related to the construction of a pedestrian crossing.
"As part of the pedestrian crossing project, which will be built at the entrance to the village of Karaagach, the main Chatalkoy-Esentepe road will be closed for 5 hours today," says the statement from the TRNC Department of Highways.
During the construction of the overpass, traffic will be provided in two directions through the old coastal road opposite the Tuncay restaurant.
The department's statement notes that the restriction will be in effect from 09:00 to 14:00.
Drivers using alternative routes are requested to understand the temporary inconvenience and to adhere to speed limits, road signs, and markings.
