Iskele to Karpaz Road Closed for Triathlon on September 8
On Sunday, September 8, a triathlon event will take place on the main Iskele-Karpaz road, featuring swimming, cycling, and running competitions.
During the event, all intersections, and roundabouts along the route will be closed to traffic. The cycling portion of the race will run from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM, between the Ötüken roundabout and the Arkın Iskele roundabout, according to the Police Headquarters.
Cyclists will be accompanied by a police escort throughout the route to ensure their safety.
Motorists using this route are urged to drive carefully, follow speed limits, maintain a safe distance, and pay attention to traffic signs and road markings.
