Man arrested in Famagusta for defrauding three people of money
In Famagusta, police arrested a 39-year-old man, B.K., who is suspected of fraud.
According to the police, between February and March 2026, the suspect, despite having no real business, posed as a company representative and promised three people to manufacture awnings (tents).
Under this pretext, he fraudulently obtained 2,345 euros, 2,700 British pounds, and 1 million Turkish liras.
After the information reached the police, the suspect was identified and taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing.
