Accident on Çayırova — Bafra road: driver trapped in car rescued
On the main Çayırova — Bafra road in Northern Cyprus, a traffic accident occurred today around 08:30, leaving the driver trapped in the vehicle. According to a source, there were no other casualties.
The driver was freed by the Iskele fire brigade: rescuers cut the roof of the car and extracted the person from the trapped cabin. The rescue operation was carried out on-site by the firefighters.
The police are investigating the circumstances of the accident. Details of the incident, including the cause of the collision and possible vehicle damage, have not been disclosed yet.
