Only 16 Out of 53 Pass the Bar Exam in the TRNC
The results of the "Accreditation Examination," conducted within the framework of the "Law on Advocacy," have been announced in Northern Cyprus. Less than a third of the applicants were able to handle the tasks.
The exam results have been published in the "Official Gazette." According to the document, 53 individuals participated in the "Accreditation Examination," and only 16 of the candidates successfully passed the accreditation.
The list of individuals who have successfully completed the accreditation can be found here.
Recall that amendments to the "Law on Advocacy" came into effect in early November of the previous year. The document, expanding the definition of the term "legal practice," was published in the "Official Gazette."
According to the law that has come into force, only lawyers and companies with licensed lawyers as founders can provide legal services in the TRNC.
