The Pharmaceutical Faculty of the Near East University has successfully completed the process of international independent accreditation conducted by the ACPE
The accreditation process began in 2014 and lasted for 9 years. The final stage of the procedure concluded in October 2023 with a visit from the ACPE assessment team.
During the visit, the quality standards were systematically evaluated, and the faculty's reports received a positive assessment.
With ACPE accreditation, the Pharmaceutical Faculty of the Near East University has opened new horizons among pharmaceutical faculties in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and Turkey.
It is noteworthy that ACPE assesses the quality of pharmaceutical education worldwide, accrediting proven educational institutions and utilizing various criteria to evaluate the quality and suitability of educational programs.
The accreditation process evaluates the educational and research activities conducted by the academic staff, the faculty's efficiency in providing access to libraries, laboratories, technological infrastructure, and resources.
Additional opportunities for practical training and internships, professional skills, and ethical values acquired by students also play a crucial role in the evaluation.
