Avtepe Medosh Tulip Festival Postponed Following Fatal Accident
The annual Avtepe Medosh Tulip Festival in Northern Cyprus has been postponed after a fatal accident. The festival, originally scheduled for March 23, will now take place on Saturday, April 5.
The 18th edition of the festival, organized by the Erenköy-Karpaz Municipality and Avtepe Muhtarlık, was initially set for Sunday. However, following a tragic road accident on March 18 in Yeni Erenköy that claimed the life of a young man and left three others seriously injured, the event had to be rescheduled.
The Erenköy-Karpaz Municipality and the Avtepe Muhtar’s office expressed their condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
