Gas Cylinder Prices in Northern Cyprus Increase to 500 TL
The price of 10-kilogram household gas cylinders in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) has been updated, with a significant increase of 30 TL effective as of today.
According to the "Goods and Services Order" published in the Official Gazette, the new price for gas cylinders is now set at 500 Turkish lira. This marks the first price adjustment for gas cylinders since the beginning of 2025.
Under the same regulation, the price per kilogram for other gas cylinder sizes cannot exceed 50 Turkish lira, including VAT.
The maximum sale price for importer companies has been determined as 288.19 TL excluding VAT, while for distribution companies, it is set at 393 TL, including VAT. Dealers will sell the cylinders for up to 474 TL.
Additionally, under the rules for transportation costs, dealers will be entitled to a transportation fee of 1.5 TL for every 10 kilometers per 10 kilograms of gas.
The last price hike for gas cylinders occurred in September of the previous year when the price increased by 25 TL, rising from 445 TL to 470 TL.
