Gökay Karagil appointed First Deputy Chief of the Police General Directorate of the TRNC

On 24 November in Northern Cyprus, a ceremony was held at the building of the Police General Directorate, during which insignia were presented to Gökay Karagil, appointed to the position of First Deputy Chief.

As reported by the Police General Directorate, the event was attended by the Commander of the Security Forces Major General İlker Görgülü, Director Ali Adalıer, as well as the heads of district directorates and units.

After Gökay Karagil’s biography was read out, the insignia were pinned on him by Major General İlker Görgülü and the Director of the Police General Directorate, Ali Adalıer.

On the same day, Director Ali Adalıer visited the Police Academy and congratulated the instructors on Teachers’ Day, noting their contribution to the training of future police officers.
