The Global Medical Tourism Forum in the TRNC was presented at ITB in Berlin

In April 2024, the Global Medical Tourism Forum - GHTF-2024 will take place in Northern Cyprus. Information about the upcoming conference was presented at the largest tourism exhibition, ITB, in Berlin.

At the TRNC stand at ITB Berlin, covering an area of 150 m2, advertising visual material covering an area of 12 m2 about the 6th Global Forum and the medical tourism conference - GHTF2024, which will take place in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus from April 18 to 20, 2024, was placed.

Ahmet Savashan, President of the World Council on Medical Tourism (GHTC), noted that a specially designed brochure "GHTF 2024, Northern Cyprus" was delivered to the stands of 170 countries.

This year, more than 5500 professionals from 170 countries, including the TRNC, gathered at the exhibition in Berlin. The delegation representing the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus met with tourism and health tourism professionals from many countries, including Germany, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Qatar, Moldova, China, the UAE, and many others.

Ahmet Savashan, President of the World Council on Medical Tourism, also participated in a tourism consultation meeting held at the Northern Cyprus stand chaired by President Ersin Tatar.

Also participating were the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Environment, Fikri Ataoglu, and the Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy.
