Cyprus Missing Persons Committee Receives New Excavation Equipment
The Stelios Charity Foundation has donated excavation equipment worth 45,000 euros to the Cyprus Missing Persons Committee.

According to a statement from the committee, “This donation is aimed at accelerating efforts to exhume and identify the remains of missing persons, with the goal of ending the uncertainty that has affected families for many years.”
The committee reported that, as part of the exhumation, identification, and repatriation project for missing persons, a total of 1,051 individuals—both Turkish Cypriots and Greek Cypriots—have been identified and returned to their families.
It was also highlighted that the committee needs continued support to maintain this bicommunal project.
