Theft at a Çatalköy hotel: $2,900 stolen from a tourist

In Çatalköy, a 44-year-old man suspected of stealing $2,900 from a tourist’s wallet at one of the hotels has been detained.
According to police, the theft occurred on August 28. During the investigation, the suspect’s identity was established; however, he was outside the country at the time.
The man was detained upon entering the TRNC via Ercan Airport and was taken into custody.
The investigation continues.
