Minister of Education of the TRNC Visited Kazakhstan
The Minister of National Education of the TRNC, Nazim Chavushoglu, made a working visit to Kazakhstan. The head of the department participated in the Turkish universities fair "Silk Road 2024" in Almaty.
During the visit to Kazakhstan, the Minister of Education established various business contacts, including a meeting with the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Almaty, Evren Muderrisoglu.
"We are here to promote TRNC universities. We will be happy if our brothers living in the lands of our ancestors receive education in the universities of our country," the minister said during the visit.
Nazim Chavushoglu thanked the host party for the interest shown in education in Northern Cyprus and presented the TRNC flag to Consul General Evren Muderrisoglu.
In his response speech, the head of the Turkish diplomatic mission thanked the Minister of National Education of the TRNC for the visit to Kazakhstan.
It is worth noting that during the visit, Nazim Chavushoglu also visited Talgar Private Secondary Boarding School No. 1 and the Eurasian Scientific Research Institute of Ahmet Yesevi University, and then opened an exhibition of the artist Ismail Ajara "Memory" in Kazakhstan.
The Minister's trip was accompanied by the Director of the Department of Higher Education and External Relations, Behcet Celebi, and Gorkem Reis from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the TRNC.
