The 14th International Labor Film Festival kicks off in Nicosia
The 14th International Labor Film Festival of Cyprus has begun in Nicosia. The opening took place on İplik Pazarı Street with a concert by Baraka Müzik Topluluğu Sol Anahtarı and the musical group Praksis from Turkey.
The theme of this year's festival is "Capitalism Conceals, Cinema Reveals."
The festival will continue on March 29 at 19:00 with a screening of the film "Geçit Yok!" at the Cyprus Turkish Teachers' Union (KTÖS) hall.
The film tells the story of the protests against the "Disciplinary Statute," which took place last year with the participation of two teachers' unions.
